Swimming Pool, Pool Terrace & Sunbathing Area
At the outdoor area, you will enjoy the privilege of a swimming pool and a jacuzzi that can be warmed up to 40° C. The yard is fully fenced, offering absolute privacy and a dining area with a BBQ under a big terrace. The yard has been carefully planted with grass for our young guests to enjoy playing there with safety.
Cocoon Villas have off-road parking area beside the Villa to park your car hires. Each Villa has a private entrance with a unique password.
Living Space & Kitchen
On the ground floor, there is the living room with the patio doors that provide with light the whole Villa and open up the living space. A comfortable sofa and a flat-screen TV equipped with Netflix, while the kitchen has every necessary amenities to enjoy cooking your own food.
In the kitchen, you will find a fridge-refrigerator, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a toaster, an espresso coffee machine and our local products welcome box with gifts to our guests.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
Villa Cyma offers 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.
On the ground floor, there is one bedroom with a double bed and the bathroom.
On the upper floor, that is accessible via stairs, there is the second bedroom with a double bed and a panoramic view of the living room. All rooms of the Villa are equipped with A/C.
If you're a beach lover, Cocoon Villas is a great choice, located just 800m from Maleme Beach, which is said to be one of the best beaches on the island! There's a wide choice of places to eat, drink and shop both on the seafront and in the nearby old village of Maleme. Whether you choose to dine at a waterfront restaurant or opt for an authentic family-run taberna in the mainland, you'll be spoilt for your choice! The city of Platanias, which is the biggest touristic attraction of West Crete, has also a variety of shops, beach bars and restaurants, and is less than 10 minutes' drive from the Villa
Local markets & Shopping
In Maleme, there's a mini market and a supermarket for those daily essentials, as well as several shops to choose from, which is a few minutes walk from the Villa. Every Saturday, in the city of Chania, is a market where you can pick up fresh fruit and vegetables, as well as the local yoghurts and cheese. The old town of Chania has a mix of shops ranging from a bootmaker to boutique clothing.
Bars & Restaurants
You'll be spoilt for choice on where to eat in Maleme and Platanias. There are several restaurants that make local food and provide with a wide variety of meals. If you prefer fish, there are some waterfront tavernas that overlook the sea. Or why not put on your dancing shoes and head to one of the many nightclubs or cocktail and music bars?
The beach of Maleme is around a 10 minutes' walk from the Villa, with clear blue water and soft golden sand. There is also the Blue Flag beach of Platanias with plenty of sunbeds and parasols to hire and a selection of beach bars and tavernas, all about 2km away. For a day at the beach, Elafonisi and Faalasarna are ideal destinations! There are white sand and pink hues and turquoise waters that ripple in the breeze. Both beaches are a bit far away, but it definitely worths driving there!
For some fun in the sun, especially when the coastline close to the Villa is wavy, Limnoupolis Waterpark offers a great adventure for the whole family! About 25 minutes drive from the Villa, Limnoupolis with its waterslides for the energetic and the lazy river for the more laid-back members of the group can provide with moments of joy all the members of your company.
Places of Interest
The city of Chania is not to be missed! The Venetian Harbour is fringed with restaurants, cafes and bars. This is a great place to rest after a day exploring the maze of alleys in the old town of Chania.
If you head east of Agia Marina you will find the Samaria Gorge that worths a visit. This is Europe's longest gorge, about 5 hours hiking - so be prepared to be wowed!
